Yeah, comp 918's.. Pushrods.. ls6 timing chain and new gears.

GU5?

I didn't know they offered that ratio in the trucks until 2004 or '05 - I thought.

I'm 95% sure you're right.

He probably has 3.42's like me.

As far as your untuned cam goes. Yes, it's normal. When I got my 224/224 installed I was disapointed at first but Rhino79 hooked me up with a badass base tune(EFI Live) and it made a world of difference.

Something to think about with your cam, you are probably running out of injector at around 5k rpms. Our 99 trucks have 19 pound injectors. My duty cycle at 4900 is 99% and I'm almost stock minus my cam,exhaust,tune,intake.

I'd pick up some 8.1L injectors. That's what I did.

He's right, your going to need injectors on that 99. I got exhaust and tune, NO CAM and all motor at 5800 im at 96% duty cycle. Check out ebay for them.
