UPDATE!! I haven't been able to get my hands on a digital camera yet for a sound clip but I changed headers and the collector size from 2 1/4 to 2 1/2...its a lot deeper now!! Very happy with it!!

I know I am very happy with the sound from mine, nice and deep but when you get on it it makes noise. Good noise....

I think you guys just talked me into the aerochambers. lol. Im going to be running a set of pacesetter LT's with no cats, magnaflow X-pipe and im thinking 2 aerochambers dumped. The whole system will be 2.5" duals. Would that be the best size to go with on a 5.3 with only intake, tb spacer and im about to get a tune?

My other options were bullets, slp resonators, aerochambers or magnaflows. Which do yall think would sound best with the setup i described??

BTW, Im glad you like it man! I cant wait to get mine done! Looks like i may also be going with the aerochambers!!

I have 1 5/8" headers going to 2 1/2 pipe exiting the rear with no cats and an x-pipe....I like it a lot...going from the 2 1/4 collector to 3" then down to 2 1/2" has made the biggest difference in sound.....sounds a lot deeper without all the rasp I used to have!! I think you will love the aerochambers and at $64 a piece...why not try them!!

I've got the PaceSetter headers, no cats, true duals all the way back, pair of Hooker, dumped in front of the rear axle. I get compliments on it all the time! It's definantly not your typical late model GM truck with a Flow40 on it for sure.

Flyer: Any chance you could post up a sound clip??? Thats the exact setup i am planning to use an id like to hear it first! Thats bad ***! Im glad someone else has already done it and said it sounds good.

BTW, I was planning to use an X-pipe but do i really need to. I was told it was important because it balances the exhaust out but i have noticed alot of people on here are just running duals with nothing linking them together. Which is better?

233/239 113 RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS

216/220 114 RIGHT CLICK SAVE AS

Both are on a 5.3 with the same exhaust setup.

You need to buy a pair of mufflers and carry them to a good exhaust shop. They can take care of the rest.
