well after a few days of researching on this board for the right muffler for my truck i decided to go with the hooker aerochamber. i must say, i can't be more happy!! the truck sounds great, and it isn't too crazy! anyone with a stock motor that is thinking of putting a cheap exhaust on, i suggest this muffler. i used to have a 2000 ecsb 5.3 4x4 with a dynomax bullet and it was too loud in the car!! the aerochamber is perfect!
one question i have not related to the muffler, what is the part number for the ngktr55 spark plugs? i would like to pic up a set this weekend. thanks for any help!!

do you still have your cats??? if you do, then you have to ditch them, hookers sounds about 10x better without cats and still with no drone in the cab!!!! I like my hooker too!!

Yes, the TR55s are good to use on a stock motor. I use them on my '02 and I've seen in the owner's manual and 2 other places that GM recommends a NGK PZTR-5A15 or equivalent. Also, they're almost a third of what you'd pay for AC Delco Platinums.

Bye, Bye Flowmaster!!
