Wow.. no budget. I wish I could say that. Let me take a shot at it.

6.0(lq4)
Comp 212/218 .558/.563 115, 918's springs, hardened pushrods
Patiot Stage 2 Head
ATI Procharger or Radix
125 dry shot
long tube headers, dual with X pipe and no cats
Yank 3400, Upgraded tranny and 4.10 rear end.
Ls1 Edit or Nelson Tune
CalTracs, Slicks on light weight rims

This set up on a RCSB should put you well into the 11's.

the whipple is fine, it just doesn't have an intercooler and the whipple fmu sucks but you will be geting rid of that i bet.

the whipple is actualy a larger compresor and will support more hp than the radix, the negatives of no intercooler are less hp on pump gas than the radix and almost no extra hp when it is hot out.

i ran a 12.77 at 8psi on a stock 6.0, i had all the other stuff like headers, stall, and even some 100octane, this was in a 5000lb+ ecsb 4wd.

if your not afraid to spray it the whipple and spray go together great, my 12.77 droped to a 12.08 with a 50shot and 11.92 with a 75shot. it pulled crazy hard out of the hole.

You need the cam, caltracs, heads, and the long tubes to complete tiburon's shopping list. I will go by your shop and check it out but work is a bitch right now!

You better go with a bigger cam than the one mentioned before. I'd go with something like a 224/230, maybe a little bigger since you got the cubes to feed. A nice set of heads will complement it VERY well.

If budget is no concern ... take that block, get it punched out 30 thousandths, and ghet you a 4" stroker crank, some forged rods, and forged lower compression pistons. That would make 408 cubic inches! Now .. add about 12 pounds of boost or a little better with the RADIX, or fab up someway to mount a bigger blower on the RADIX intake, like the new Whipple 3300AX. With the right tuning and being able to get the power to the ground .. you should be good for some 11's .. maybe even low 11's.

i had stock rods and pistons, infact that motor was completely stock. my old set up in your truck with traction would be mid 11's at least.

you are geting alot of completely diferent idea's here. i dont think a 408 is worth the expence if you are going with a whipple, the whipple just wont pump enuff air to make it worth the money of a 408. i would stick with a mild cam too.

my thoughts, stock 6.0 heads, mild cam, head studs, forged pistons with a little lower compresion(9-1?), rods, stock crank.

with some 100octane you could prety much max out the whipple and then put a 100shot on top of that and have the power to run some low 11's easy. work on traction and driveline after that.
