Ok sofar what I see diffrent is the 6.0 is not cable throttle do I need to change the intake

That's just the T/B. Put your s on it and use your wiring harness.

yeah, what they said, you basicaly just use the longblock, swap everything else over from your motor.

Gonna movethis to the performance section. As for heads and cam, the best way for us to help you choose those is for you to tell us what your end goals will be. What's the buget, how fast you want this done, etc...

His goal is to beat his best ET of 12.3, his old engine is a 5.3 on a 2000 scsb. He really has no budget. I say get rid of the whipple and put it in your escalade or 2002 5.3 work truck and get the radix. Switch over your rockers and get a huge *** cam. Take it to that guy in Spokane and have him **** with your LS1 edit. Your main issue is traction. You need to try some caltracs. I called Spalding and they told me your tranny would not work with the 6.0 cause of the bellhousing. Anybody know about this?

The 01+ years 6L will work fine with his 4L60E transmission.
