Interested on how this will turn out. My buddy has a 5" dmax exhaust fabbed to fit his truck, but he's running dual turbos.

Truck is on the lift, got the rear McGuaghys hangers on, waiting on the correct spindles to come, then i will do the exhaust,

As of right now when i sit the truck on the ground the duals are hitting my rear end so theyve got to go, but im glad i lowered my truck before i did the new exhaust so i can clearance everything.

Did you ever finish the exhaust, really want to put 3.5" exhaust on my 5.3, but everyone is saying it will be too big, interested if it worked out okay for you.

A single 3.5 is slightly smaller in volume than dual 2.5 pipes so no, it won't be too terrible. A single 3 is really only suitable for 350-380bhp.
