mine is closer to 9.8 and have never had a detenation issue,Ed wright and Westers and Street and performance have all been involved with mine. My buddys H&C Denali is right at 10.1 and he has had to have his tune backed off due to detenation.Nogo AKA Kevin from east side performance has tuned it alone with one other well known tuner.Thats just been my experience with compression on heavy trucks such as this.

So what do you think should I keep it down alittle? I think with alot of compression you need to pull some timing.

Compression Ratio = (GV+DV+HV-VV+PV) / (GV+DV+HV-VV)

GV (Head Gasket Volume) = Bore(in) X Bore(in) X 12.87 X (Head Gasket Thickness in Inches)

DV (Below Deck Volume) = Bore(in) X Bore(in) X 12.87 X (Inches Below the Deck)

HV (Head Volume) = CC's

VV (Dish, Valve Pocket, Dome Volume) = CC's
(Minus for dish or valve pockets, Plus for dome)

PV (Volume displaced by Piston) = Bore X Bore X Stroke X 12.87

mattrem, I would think long and hard on that high compression. My setup is around 10.3-.4 and Im having problems with running some 93 octanes. Had to pull timing on the dyno.

How much timing did you pull? What fuel are you using? Mine is 10.2:1 now and I have no problems at all with Allen's tune.
