Also if I install a 4l80 would I be able to install a 1 piece driveline. I don't trust this two piece especially since my truck is so low.

 

The two piece shafts are safe than a really long one piece shaft. The longer the shaft, the thicker the shaft, and the material its made of affect its "terminal velocity".

You would have a greater chance of breaking a shaft the longer it is.

Well **** I just took my brother in law for a ride and this thing is shifting perfect now. It acctually does better when I manually shift it because it holds past 5500rpm then. what do you guys think?
