Give me your opinion on the condition of this cam. There is one lobe which shows some increased wear compared to the other, which slightly catches the fingernail. Otherwise the world cam looks normal. would you run this Cam in your engine?

I did have a valve spring snap and the valve (exhaust) kissed the piston. It was the second exhaust valve from front on the passenger side, so I'm wondering if this "line" is secondary to that. The rest of the cam looks like normal wear for 4 years to me (this is the cam out of my truck I installed in 2010). The "specs" seen in the pictures are little particles of dust in the oil on the cam. There's no pitting or anything like that.

Just my opinion on used parts your thinking about selling. If there is the slightest feeling it may not work dont sell it as it may come back to haught you. This is why i never try to sell anything. Most of the time i just give **** away to my friends for free because i dont want to deal with possible backlash.

I'd hate to toss this cam, but will if I have too. I will probably throw it up for sale with the disclosure of it's condition and see if anyone is interested.
