The 218/218 is a great cam for your setup. now that I have a 4000 converter it leaves hard and the cam I currently have does well, however, I know going with something more aggressive is going to really crank on the top end and take full advantage of the additional airflow where as the current unit is great for a Stock set up. I picked up 51 rear wheel horsepower with the btr stage 3 cam. I already had a tune in the truck that my buddy used for his 216\220 cam and then we adjusted fuel and timing and it picked up an additional three ho going from 48 to a total of 51 hp.i definitely recommend the btr stage 3 as a fantastic mod. I'm going beyond lol
