Just curious about the gas mileage in a 6.0L 2500HD 2WD with the A4 trans and 3.73 gears.

My dad get's about 13mpg around town in his. Maybe a little more on the hwy though.

FYI, you can't get 3.73 gears on a 2500HD w/6.0, only 4.10. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" />

My truck gets 12-13 all the time, and I drive it pretty hard most of the time. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" /> It got almost 16mpg on an all highway trip once. It is a 6.0/4L80E/3.73 drivetrain.

Between 13 and 14 mpg all around driving (I'm a leadfoot though). Best I've gotten was 16 mpg on a long trip.

Hi Kristi!
I have a 02' 2500(non HD) 4x4 w/ 3.73's A4.
If I keep my foot out of it driving around in the city I usually get around 15 mpg, I have gotten up to 16.8 mpg on the hwy.
Towing my car on the trailer drops the milage to 14.3 mpg on the hwy at 75 mph.
I have AS&M LT headers, custom ORP, Flowmaster muffler, Superchips Programmer, ASP pulley & K&N FIPK, those mods definetly improved the milage.
