Default Gains from 1.8 rockers

I am thinking about going with 1.8 rockers before going with a cam, I already have some 918s for my truck.

What kind of gains are people seeing from them?

I thought we went through this already?? Take your lift now. Multiply it times 1.7, then take your lift now and multiply it by 1.8. Subtract the difference and see what you come up with. The cam isnt much more, but you get a lot more lift, and more duration. I say save your money, cause youre gonna want a bigger cam soon anyway.

I love rocker threads.

Plus I say we ditch the search button..... Or at least put some animated mold on it since it never gets used.

I know im smart. 1.8's are worthless man, honestly. Get a good cam and call it a day. Youll be much happier with the end result. PS: Rockers wont get you lope like a cam will!! Sorry I came off as an asswipe.

These rocker threads are popping up like the "Should I descreen my MAF" threads did not too long ago.

I'll throw my opinion on this in here as well. I think the 1.8's were worth it. They are accelerated lift, and you can get higher and quicker lift without slamming the lifters around as much. Just my opinion, and what makes sense to me. It also expands the list of cams you can get, I have a .551 cam and am getting .583 lift. Yes, you can get a cam that gives you .583 lift, but you will be stressing the lifters more. Don't have any idea what that does to longevity, maybe nothing, but it would make sense that less stress on the lifters = longer life....
