Default Fuel sending unit

I replaced my fuel tank with a fuel cell. Mean while i put a resistor on the cell to match the resistance of the stock tank. "It didnt work". Does anyone know how the stock sending units opperate. They dont seem to be like the old sending units.

408, you are running stock manifolds with a 408 stroker motor? seems like you have alot of performance left in it being that you are running 2" valves etc. what 4 link system are you running also, i've thought of doing one but havn't done it yet due to the fact that there aren't any 4 link kits around for the trucks. have any pics of your setup? get some dyno numbers and track times man.

I have shorty headers, but it needs some long tubes. I ended up buying the four link from a local builder and then built my own coil brackets and panhard bar. Its not exactly set up the way i want it, but it works a lot better then the stock leaf springs and a flip kit i had. If you go under my name you should be able to see my truck at picture trail.
