I had egg on my face the other day, standing in the used car managers office a tech walking in with an est. on a 2k truck for a complete fuel tank assembly install because the fuel gauge wasnt working.I said to my buddy why dont you have him replace the sender only, hell I just did one the other day.The tech rolled his eyes and walked back to the parts dept (non GM dealer) he came back 10 min later and said you cant get the sender only.Trying to not look like a dumb **** i went out side and called the dealer and sure as hell he said complete unit only.So GM recently changed things because I had the GM part number for just the sender and it was around $80 GM parts direct.

Just finnished installing the pump and sending unit about 30 minutes ago. Thanks again Curtis for the assembly. Now my gauge isn't jumping all over the place and I have a pump to handle the fuel demand.
