No. These engines are internally balanced. No weights on the flywheel.

another thing.......do you have to get the ecu reprogramed for the 6.0

In response to your questions above

1.) Because it isn't strong enough

2.) Yes you can have your 4.8 PCM reprogrammed for the 6.0

60E is weak. The motor will run fine on the 4.8 PCM but highly recommend a good tune ONCE you get a tranny that can hold the power input.

So reprogram the ECU for the 6.0 and get a 80E......i have someone who has a 80E with a 3k stall......i might swap him my 4.8 and 60E for it
