what size coupling do you guys use for the TB bypass?-Thanks

 

The stock hosing that comes out of the radiator is actually long enough to reach the entire distance... so you can just toss the second hose.

are yall capping the barbs on the throttle body when you bypass it?

 

YES with Vacume caps and De-screening the MAF Helped me a lot i just have to make sure the K&N isn't over oiled.. IF you do DE-screen just keet a can of electrical contact cleaner handy all the time

 

Why cap it? No part of it goes in the throttle body, so there's no vacuum leak. The screen on the MAF is so that the sensors read a "straight" airflow, not a curved which is an incorrect reading. Don't descreen it.

i used vice grips to pinch both sides of the coolant lines to prevent any major losses of coolant

 

most people with te TB mods spend quite a bit of time porting it all so alot of times the gains are all in their head. if you do the bypass, you shouldnt lose much if any coolant as long as your engine is cold. if you live somewhere its very cold i do not recommend doing the bypass at all or in the winter your TB could freeze
