Free mods and Seafoam caused issues HELP

Might as well add...while its back up..
I clean my MAF's with CFC Electrical cleaner. Seems to work alright.
The filament is so fragile, that any non-contact solution is good.
I've also heard good and bad about SeaFoam. It seems to work alright as long as you slowly mist the engine with it and find a vacuum port that's central to all cylinders.
I've only used it a couple of times.
As for the De-screen - the way I look at its worth:
2-5hp < $150.00 possible destroyed MAF
It's just my opinion - but for the cash, it might be worthwhile to get an aftermarket MAF that's calibrated differently and De-screened. I don't own one..so I cant comment much
