it's a nice truck but i would hold out for something else. anything that says (tachometer, clock, tripodometer, etc....) if it has to point that out than to me the truck isn't that special. IMO..... find something out there, though it might be hard, that has abosolutely everything you want on it. that way you won't complain about it later on, wishing that you got something else. i used that philosophy when i got my truck and have been happy ever since. good luck!!!

The only thing to ask about is rear gear ratio and if it has a locking rear, but even if it doesn't have what he prefers, it at least has 3.42 gears. And it wouldn't be that hard to add a posi. Just commenting on your "not that special" comment. Don't diss the guy on what he wants. And he wants a blue GMC SLE Reg Cab stepside with the 5.3L....IMHO...not a bad choice at all!

 

That's a lot of miles on a 2000. I know, my 2000 has 58k <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> If you o inquire about this truck, have them tell you in detail about the condition of the bed. A truck with 58k that has a beat up bed in most cases means it was used hard or not taken care of very well and may be more trouble than you want. Just my 2 cents. It is a nice looking truck. BTW, they should have a driver program for interstate deliveries. Seems like it runs about $500 on the avg.

This is the truck I want for my project "HUALN-U" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I'm not too worried about what its got in it options wise. I just wanted to find a '99-'00 GMC/SILV. RCSB stepside. This is a perfect match.

I'm actually glad its got a lot of miles on it. That will help lower the price a little. It will be recieving a very low mileage 422 anyway. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I can take care of any little things that need fixing.

I'm going to do a little more searching around up here before I inquire about this truck. If I can find a RCSB fleetside I might just get it and change the bed over later.

Well, I found pretty much the same exact truck in North Carolina. Thats alot closer to me and may make for a nice weekend trip. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I really want either a blue, black, or green truck. I like dark colors and made a big mistake getting a Pewter Camaro SS. I really didn't like it after I got it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> That may sound strange that the color makes that big a difference but, thats just the way I am. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'm going to find out how much each truck is and decide what to do.

I think if I do buy this truck I'll have a professional shipping company take care of it. Less insurance problems that way if something happens to it.
