Flowmaster or magnaflow????

Default Flowmaster or magnaflow????

my friend just put on some flowmaster super44 series on his 08 tahoe and i liked the way it sounds. but i normally dont like flowmaster but this one kinda changed my mind about getting one.. but b4 i heard the super 44 series i was wanting to get a magnaflow for my 08 silverado. does anyone know what muffler would be better?

well magnaflow is what the majority run here. but if you like flowmasters, run with it...

I have a 6.0 with true duals an xpipe with two 40 series flows, everyone I kno likes the sound real aggressive has some done at certain rpms but it doesn't bother me.

For performance, Magnaflow without a doubt. For sound, whatever one sounds best to you since you're the one driving it.

I've had them both, and I like flowmasters sound alot better.

I had flowmaster super 44 on mine at one time. sounded goog until i started moddin. with headers it gets very loud. especially if you dont have cats. lots of drone but sounds mean.

Yea flowmasters sound just right with no drone if you still have cats and manifolds. Magnaflow on stock trucks are super quite, and are barely noticeable.

Flip a coin. Magnaflow will have better flow performance, but noticing the difference would be hard.

I had flowmasters back in the day with cats and manifolds and it droned horribly. You can always build a 1/4 wave resonator to cancel out drone at your cruise speed...some might think thats too much work. But it gets rid of drone.
