i got a flowmaster american thunder on my 4.8 and i personally like it... just click my exhaust clip

 

you dont see many at all running flow masters anymore. You can actaully see dynos of people that loose HP with them. For some reason they became gold because every 5.0 stang had them. Then testing was done with different mufflers and those flowmasters actaully didnt flow as good as claimed

whatever you do, you will have drobe if you dump before the rear axle. Mine was very bad with my round dynomax muffler. I then added about 2ft of pipe and dumped after the rear axle and WOW.. much much much better!

 

My shorties/no converters/true duals/40 series Flowmasters/dumped at the bumper does not drone bad at all in my reg cab & I like the sound. (5.3)

 

I am going to run all the way out behind the rear tire.

Ive tried Aerochambers, Warlocks, Bullets, and went back to my 40 series. I have long tube headers, no cats, true duals, and dumping at right rear quarter panel. I loose at most .200 at the track with Flowmasters verse my open cut outs. Flowmaster sound is my favorite.
