That is a dam good bit of info right there. My truck does not surge or anything. But if it ever does I wont hesitate to give that a shot!

Don't go above 6% on your throttle position. Trust me, doing this is not the real solution and it will totally fumble the engine idle up if you do it incorrectly. (I figured this idea out before this guy, but had to put everything back to normal because things began to act funny) I was trying to increse idle air when coming to a quick stop at the top of first gear because the intercooler acts like a big cam with respect to airflow when incorporated in a draw through MAF setup like I have.

Give it a try though to see how things work. Maybe it will work for you. I would definitely try this before I would drill my throttle blade. I know tuning is still the best way to go though.
