Went to the track tonight and ran a new best et and mph! Only other mod was the compucar 100hp dry shot! Time is in the sig...That was with a lazy 2.07 60ft...on my open rear end My mph is good enough for some mid 12's when I get a posi and traction And I don't even have headers or a pulley yet

Nice run. So you did go with the Compucar kit. Its a nice easy kit isnt it. Im getting another one for my Camaro too. Just cant beat the price.

You cant be spinning too bad with you 60' staying the same. Just open up the exhaust a little more and you'll hit 12s.

With the bottle off the line and that converter you should be able to get into the 1.8 60' range min. and that'll stick you solid in the 12s. BTW you are running very close to what the new SRT-10 truck runs

 

I went with the Compucar nitrous in a bag kit...the hidden system only $395...best $$ I spent so far! Snake Eater, I ran that 60ft. on a open gear with just nittos...It was spinning out the hole on motor...I didn't even hit the nitrous till about the 60ft mark. I know with a posi and some e.t. streets my converter can get some low 1.8's. I was just amazed at the mph...I was thinking maybe 99-100 mph in the 1/4...but not 106.2!!

 

I am guessing that you used the Predator to remove the speed limiter??? Did you leave the Predator tuning (93 octane or whatever they call it) in while spraying it? Where did you buy that nitrous system at?? Oh, Nice times....I'm sure the 12's are just a click away!

 

Nice times man, picking up 15 mph is more like a 150 shot, amazing gains on a 100 shot. With the new rear you will get 12's easy. I am gonna have to come watch you run sometime.

 

ET streets need to be your next purchase. If you can spray off the line, you'll be rocking.

 

I cant spray till a little after i hit 2nd, and still spin into 3rd. I dont think its ever hooked before 75mph. Then it pulls harder than first gear did.

Nitto's with a locker should hold a 100 shot out of the hole and pull some low 1.8 60's. Hows the stoping at the end of the run? On spray i have to use the 2nd turn off.
