Very nice, how's it feel to not worry about breaking trannies... be worried about that lil 10 bolt now!

How come no one spends the extra $$$ for the wide ratio set in the 4L80E?

It feels good!

I chose not to use the new gears out of curiosity....This trans seems to be right inline with the 60.....there are some noticeable differences, but nothing that I cant live with.

You just can't explain to someone that hasn't driven one,how good the close ratios work in a 4L80E with my 4.56 gears the Tahoe actually barks 3rd gear consistantly and occasionally barks 4th on a short shift. The result is seamless power.

Well my AOD in the Ford has close ratios also... 2.40/1.47/1/.67 so it's nothing new to me about the setup like that or the feel. The RPM drop between gears is WAY less than with this 4L60E you just have to over come the initial taller 1st gear after that it accelerates more quickly to being closer and dependant on your rear gear ratio.
