It should be the one going to the very front of the engine block. It comes right off the battery.

found the ground problem, still no oil pressure but nothing seemed to be locking up or grinding.

efans are in. I used pin 43 to run both on high and 33 to turn them on for the AC. I hope this was right. Still no oil pressure so not real worlds testing yet.

Before you go any further, I would get a oil pressure measurement other than the factory sending unit/gauge. Check out this Car Craft article. Look through the pictures and note where they attach a conventional oil pressure gauge just above the oil filter.

right at the oil filter there is a "oil filter bypass pressure valve", Can anyone tell me what this is for? or if it could be why i'm not getting or holding prime?

Im not sure what the pressure valve is at the oil filter. I thought the pressure relief was in the oil pump.
I just finished my 6.0 build and will be doing the pre oiling like is described in car craft. This Sunday is the day if things go well. After oiling, but before I fire the motor, I plan to loosen the oil filter, and spin the motor over without plugs (fuel injection disabled) until oil leaks out at the filter seal. this will verify the pump is working. maybe try that?

https://www.performancetrucks.net/fo...sounds-518415/

Do double valve springs give more valve closing sound thru headers? There is a few ticking sounds but noting that is constant more of a random tick and its on both sides.
also I have .008 off the heads and .018 decked off the block with a .040 gasket so would 7.400 or 7.375 push rods be best. I have read stock is 7.400 but I basically have .037milled under the factory setup with brian tooly double springs and the tick performance sns stage one cam. any help would be great. the vid sounds are with the 7.375 push rods.
