Default Firestone Firehawk indy 500 tires?

does anyone have these on their truck?

firstone firehawk indy 500's

i currently have some bridgestone dueler h/p's that were on my truck when i got it. I really like these tires to the point that i would consider buying another set, but these firestone tires are half the price and the customer rating is higher than that of the dueler h/p's in like every single category. they almost sound a little too good to be true, anyone here have them?

I did a lot of tire research last year and ended up getting a set of these in July '04. They hook as good as any radial I have ever seen (and I used to run a tire store). I am 100% satisfied with mine. I will put them on my other truck too next time it needs tires.

Dont think twice about buying these and do it. I put a set on my stock rims for a couple fo reasons. They were basiclly the only sporty non all terrain tire I could find. The price is nice and they hook up damn good. I bought them to use at the track as well. This was all before I did the LS1! They are still decent on the street and I would suggest them to anyone but for the track I dont have a chance to hook up with out slicks! I would say buy them. they are pretty sticky as well!

Excellent tires. With the 255/60/15 I was able to pull a 2.07 60' in the '86. Good wear too, I think they are a 50-55,000 mile tire. I would definitely buy them again.

I have them in a 255/70-16. I like them a lot better than my generals that they replaced. My only complaint is that during hard cornering, I can really feel the truck move around on the tires. I never noticed it at stock ride height, but with a 2" drop in the rear, it became very noticeable.

Exactly what I felt, but I still think they are a very good tire.
