Visually the valve looks okay and sits in the seat properly. Not sure how much for the head work but it shouldn't be much. If there's no damage they won't need to machine anything.

Also, the rockers will be staying stock. I'm not interested in using any COMP products (eventhough my cam was ground by them several years ago, any future ones will not).

Cleaned up the passenger bank. How clean do I need to get the deck with oem gaskets? Ive heard theyre more forgiving than aftermarket. I got most everything off, just very minor specs here and there.

Summit offers a similar package for $99 but they use a larger C-clip.

As far as the gasket's, make sure this is no gasket material left on the deck and clean it really well with solvent just prior to installation.

Running the baby 83mm turbine with a 1.00 T4 housing. You put your foot in it, you have boost, no waiting. It's actually basically the same thing KBracing runs on his truck. The nice thing about this S400 turbo is there's a number of upgrades, FI apparently has a billet 80 that can do 1350 rwhp now.

CRC gasket remover. Stuff melts away gasket, carbon, etc.

I wasn't really trying to get the pistons clean like new, just knock down the high carbon spots. But the stuff just melts most all of it away. Can't hurt I suppose.

No the stuff literally melts carbon. Thing is, you really need to let it sit like 5-10 minutes to do its thing. A couple spots had heavy carbon buildup that took a couple applications to get off.

Worked some more on the passenger bank again and then the drivers bank. Except this time I got some razor blades....should have done this from the beginning. Was previously using a plastic scraper...waste of time. With the iron block I don't think using a razor blade is an issue like it could be with aluminum in terms of gouging the metal.
