I decided just to stay with the current cam. I may change it out in the future depending on how things workout.
Heads are off to the machine shop later this morning for inspection, cleaning and spring install.

So that never even bent that valve?
I would do the trunion upgrade on anything that isn't going to be driven in stock form. You are putting more pressure on it by using stronger springs, more than likely a different cam, and more than likely higher RPM's. If one gives out it doesnt just break, it spreads needles bearings throughout your engine. The upgrade is $130 and a little bit of work for cheap insurance.
