Just remember that all of those people with the 4.8's that have comparable horsepower are probably not so comparable when the torque comes into play. Yes the vho's are putting down about the same power that you are, even with your mods, but you have to remember that they have more displacement and better flowing heads on top of that (this is not saying that a 4.8, 5.3, 5.7, or 6.0 with the same mods will put out close to the same hp/tq, they probably wont unless one is a freak).

284.8rwhp and 299.7rwtq (with towhaul on... some people say that got 10+ with it off)

I was at 254.9 before the cam..... I thought that was kinda low... and then after the cam it went to 284.8 so .... who knows... It has alot to do with how cool your engine is at the time of the pull

280hp/310tq. Then again it's all-wheel drive which would lose more power at the wheels, but...
