I like the exhaust note, and i didn't have to listen hard to hear the lope.

What are the specs on the cam? Any idea how much power it added? What's the power band on that sucker? What type of exhaust setup do you have, sounds real good when revved. Sorry bout' all the questions but i need a lot of info on cams before i get one.

 

Sounds nice ... what's it idled at? It sounds like it would prolly lope harder if it was idled down a hair.

 

yay right now i have her idled at around 800rpms. i am going to lower it some now that i have it smoothed out.

216-220-525-532-114 is the spec. comp cam----comp 918's with manley hardened rods to boot.

the exhaust is --asm headers--no cats--true dual with a magnaflow hd muffler-dual in and out with the x pipe technology.

power range? i have a 2500 stall and cruise around in it often. what loss. i have power from launch all the way to 6400 1-2 and 6200 2-3.

i love this cam and i plan on getting 1.85 rockers to go with it.

 

What will the 1.85's do?

 

Increase lift of course. Around .044"

 

i had one of them funky calculaters that give out wierd results and it said this

525-532+1.85=568-572.

not sure how accurate that is but it looks nice.

I get .571/.579 for the lift with 1.85 rockers, even better.

 

now that is what i am talking about. and for less than 400.00 bucks.and what an hour to do a swap.
