Just an update. Tranny guy ordered the parts today to fix my tranny and said that they would be in no later than thursday. so when that comes in then i will take it to him and get it back that day. So i would say it should be running no later than Friday

Yes another update due to change of plans. I ordered a Rossler TH400 today and it will be here by the end of next week. I also ordered a Neal Chance converter so that should be here next week as well. I shouldnt have to worry about that part of the truck now either.

 

i hope your truck is everything u want it to be. its god damn impressive. how much did the bracket run you? evr thought about a cog set up? im looking to build a nice big bracket like that for my measley P1 setup havent been able to find any d1's the truck only has 1500 miles on it so im kind of hesitant to pu tit under the knife right away but woth all these new setups im gonna have to rape this truck just to get someone to look my way hahah! congrats on it finally coming together...now get that tranny and get some video. i aint jockin but IMHO this is the most impressive setup on the forum. basicly because its ***** to the wall no expense spared and purpose built...none of this its this fast because its this heavy but just imagine if it were lighter and had suspension!....**** that u wanted to race so u got a standard cab 2wd put a stroker, big *** blower,t400,and a 4 link in it. "bitch im not ******* around".

 

haha yea I have always had more passion towards truck for some reason, but this set up in a f body would be pretty impressive as well. I appretiate all your kind words about my truck, i guess that kinda what you build them for, to enjoy and to get compliments. I gave it everything I had pretty much so hopefully it does the same back for me. I think it should. Cog set up i dont even know if it is possible. Maybe it is i dont know for sure. I might find out eventually if the 6 rib doesnt work and then i will try 8 rib and then if that fails then I will find a way to make the cog work, but i think i will be ok with the 6 rib with no flex in the bracketry and alot of belt wrap and hella tension on the belt. I just wanted to do something besides turbo or twins cause that is what everyone is doing now and so then its nothing special if thats the case. But it should be fun none the less.
