Default Finally made it back to the track.

Last night was the first time I ran in good weather since the tt3000 swap. Let me start by saying if I can't find 1 more simple mod to do I may have to change my name. Pretty good air last night and truck was hooking up pretty good. my best of the night was a 13.000 @ 103.13 and 1.81 60'. All others were 13.01, 02, 04, and 08 on the first pass. 60's were all 1.81, 82, and 83's. Mph was 100, 102, 103, 104.

I did enter the bracket race after 2 time trials. First race was against a lightning. My dial was 13.03 and his 12.95. I got him on the tree with a .028 against his .467. I had about 3 trucks on him so I let off before the line instead of braking and still broke out. The outcome was my 13.02 @100.05 to his 13.29 @105.21. So I was back in the time trial lane.

I noticed a BIG difference in performance on the street when I swapped the 20's with the stockers and sticky's. The big wheels are killing me on the road so I have decided to get rid of them as soon as I get the chance. Now I have to find another wheel. May go back with the 18" timeless 6 or try some intro's. Sorry so long. Later

It's to bad you did your own heads. With some flow figures, you could have a custom spec'd camshaft made out & keep your name.

Dmn man, you're sooo close!

What does your 20" rim/tire combo weigh? How about your other rims?

Just curious because I think my 20" centerlines will come out weighing not much more than my stock rims/tires.

I weighed the 20's last night at 68.5 lbs. the stockers were 48lbs.
I've closed up my exhaust a bit too since the vig. I might look in to electric cut-outs. I'm sure that could be another tenth.

You are still in front of me, although my times are slowly comming down every time I go to the track. Ripped off a 13.17@102 last night. I too am looking for that little extra to get me into a 12 on motor and 11 on the juice. I need two more stock rims to put my skinny tires on, put on my shortbelt and remove the sway bar and I think I may be able to pull it off on a sticky track with good air. Did you pull out all the stops last night for your 13.00(shortbelt, swaybar, etc)?

I had the shortbelt on and no I didn't remove the sway bar. I don't know if it would help any. I too would like to put some little skinny's on the front.
