Default finally get to start modding

makin some pretty good money and i finally want to start modding...thinking to start with a few small ones that are transferable over to the 6.0 because the 4.8 just don't cut it for me...thinkin of a cam around 220/220 551/551 with like a 112 or 114lsa debating on the intake more likely than not i'm probably going to keep the truck intake because then i can still keep my engine cover ((i'm picky)) obviousley gonna keep the k&n ((if it aint broke don't fix it)) probably gonna get rid of the shorties & go LT with some cutouts as my first step...break 'em in on the 4.8 & then bolt to the 6.0...just wondering what other little things should i do to the truck ready for the 6.0...i know i'm gonna need a locker would you guys do that first maybe?

Beef up the rear with a trutrac for sure, then maybe consider what you're going to do about traction. LT's and an exhaust that's suitable for the 6.0 would be nice, as well as some efans if you want. Pretty much everything will transfer over to the 6.0, aside from the computer tuning of course.
