Not really... but that never stopped anyone before. I'd prolly get a set of Shaft Mounted Yella Terras or Harlan Sharps in 1.7:1 ratio.

i'd swap em out if you got the extra cash. it should help you rev quicker and get to those upper rpms where your cam will be most deadly.
btw, people have said it helped them rev quicker, im not just making a guess.

I like the idea of people putting big cams in trucks. It might not run so well without a stall or tune, but I think once we have those settled, then we are going to make some good power and times with the larger cams. I am thinking about putting a TR220 in my 4.8 with a 112 or 113 LSA when I get the money.

Just found that I need to spend my $700 cam budget on a weight distributing hitch, and travel-trailer repairs for an upcoming trip. I'm pretty bummed... I'll be broke 'til August.
