i would replace the springs for sure, if your really planning on turbo soon i would tap the oil pan while its out and plug it.

I would replace the springs, spark plugs, oil and get a good tune for that 6.0. Good to see that your getting more power. Now I definately have to see your truck at the track.

I should make it out there next year! lol I wish I could make up my mind on whta trans to put in 4l60 - 4l80 !!! Did youget your truck fixed?

yeah I picked it up today but no racing till next year. I would forget about the 60e trans for a turbo 6 liter. A built 4l65e should be the minimum.

stock gaskets are multilayered steel...are awesome for boost. If you are going to be under 15psi, you can use stock head bolts but get the arp studs if you got the money...stronger and saves wear on your threads in the block. Definitely replace the springs now....boost pushing on the valves definitely adds to the load they endure. IN general, get a 114+ lsa cam. You actually just want to make sure you have little to no overlap. The recommended gt2-3 or ls6 cam fit the bill perfectly. KP on ls1tech has gone 9.2s in the 1/4 on a ls6 cam and procharger
