A few questions.

I posted this under the Forced Induction section as well...
I know what superchargers and turbos do, but I have a few quick question regarding applications.
I haven't done any looking, yet, but out of curiosity, is there a supercharger for a small block with a carb that doesn't stick up through the hood? A low profile supercharger of sorts.
If not, are there other options for using forced induction with a carb?
Also, in either case, can anyone recommend a good setup?
Thanks

I think there's little 4-71 blowers that sit a single carb on top. Depending on the application, ie old truck hot hot, they'd fit under the hood.
It seems like most guys who run forced induction on the street through a carb build a box around the carb and pressurize the box using a centrifugal. That or they slap a hat on the carb which is directly plumbed to the output of the centrifugal.

YOU CAN EITHER HAVE A CARB IN A BOX AS MENTIONED ABOVE.. OR THEY HAVE HATS WITH THE TUBE COMING OFF THE SIDE... YOU JUST HAVE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CARB SETUP AS A BLOW THROUGH SETUP.
YOU CAN ALSO RUN TURBOS WITH THE SAME SETUP...
