that sounds good. with a about a 220 range cam, 3200 stall, full exhaust, tune, built tranny and 4.10 that will be haulin ***. i would do tranny, stall, rear end and exhaust first. then get the cam and do a cam and head work at the same time. you dont have to have any special tire to get a stall. stocks will do

oh... and i have 285/60/16 on my stock rim. and my slicks are 28/11/16 and thay are on stock wheels

my rear end was the 1st thing to go when the truck was pretty much stock. then i used a 50 shot a few times and lost the trans too. id say to take care of those 1st so it doesnt cost thousands later like me.

are those slicks on the chrome or aluminum wheels? im also looking into getting some but i have the stock chrome wheels which i think are .5 smaller in width.

yes you can put 285/60 on stock wheels.
i would recommend a retune after tranny build.
most people go with finish line transmissions (FLT) >>>>over in the sponsers.
as for rear ends, get you a quality locker like detriot or auburn, eaton and a set of 4.10 gears and have a local shop install them.

yea my list looks like this now. headers, true duals no cats with crossover X pipe and 2 magnaflows, rebuilt tranny with the 3200 stall, built rear end with 410s, reflash from w4m or buy wheatley tune, then cam and the rest of the head all at once.(tires when i need them)

remeber my truck is a crew cab its about 5000 lbs. is 13 secs gonna happen?

oh yea one more question, when i redo my exhaust from single/duel 50 series to LTs,catless, true duels with 2 28" magnaflows gonna be a lot louder?

thanks for the help im gonna start searching for trannys now.

28in mufflers should not be to loud.
read this thread. it about a cc silvy. its a full bolt on 6.0 running low 13s. so a full bolt on 5.3 should be mid 13s.

nice mid 13s or high 13s is good enough. I was looking at FLT and im guessing the street and strip tranny for $1850 would be good enough. I read about the core refund but they where only for lt1s and ls1s, how much do they give us back? about 350 or so? also the eaton lockers look serious, i guess i wont be losing traction, thats why you guys have such a high stall. about how much are they 400 or so? thanks

yea im not too happy with my w4m right now.. I just went to this long road with no one on it and it a few 0-60s i launched at the highest stock stall which is like 1900 or so. i did about a 7 ft burn out and then it bogged down. i think after the exhaust im gonna get the rear end 410s and a wheatley. i havent found any tuners down here yet. im sure the w4m has barely any TM removed.
