First what size and type of rocker arms come on the 5.3L motors. Are they the same as all of the LS1/LS6 motors? Just wondering if a 1.8 rocker would help any.

Second...I took my stock air intake apart just to see what all is in there and what is with the tunnel looking thing in the bottom of the box base? Of all the different air kits it looks like that stock lower part of the box is the worst part right behind the tube going to the TB. What are you guys using for a new intake setup? (I do have a 4x4, so a ram air setup is probably not a good idea with water, mud, and dirt flying around)

What are some good, quick, cheap mods to get a little more performance and gas milage out of it? I would be nice to try and get a little more mileage on the interstate with it.
