OK...bringing this back up...now here I have a question, If I replace the factory rod bolts with ARP rod bolts would anyone have problems with me calling it a "stock" longblock?

what all does it take to get in the 12's with a rcsb 5.3l?

I have 4.10 gear, posi, headers, intake, tune. Next will probably be elec fans, pulleys and throttle body or stall.

Right now on a G-tec im running 14.5

Check out bluecajun5.3's sig, he runs in the 12s. It takes that and knowing how to get it to hook.
