yeah, i was looking at that awhile back for my truck..

It will bolt on but i think you need to swap your electronically driven throttle body to a cable driven throttle body and i think you need to change water pumps too..If i'm correct. I could be wrong.

do a search for 'LS6 intake swap'... this has been addressed sevral times, in a nutshell though, you have to go to F-body front accessories and fuel rails... along with other goodies.

You can run truck acc. but you have to move stuff around. You can run the Electronic TB with it also. Here's my l76 setup I made, same idea. I have made this for a few members here.

IMO that is waaaay too much intake for a 4.8, ls6 would be plenty, that is more suited for a wild 6.0L and up you dont really need a $1k intake manifold on a 4.8

as a note to those that are going to say you will loose all your lowend with a fast 90 IF you get it ported, like by Tony Mamo @ AFR, you wont have a loss of lowend, there are graphs to prove this on tech, but im not going to search for them, a normal fst 90mm has some loss but when ported by AFR they seem to gain in the lowend, dont ask me how...

Being one of those who says it...
It's the sum of the TB, intake, cam, heads, displacement, CR = power/torque.
A ported 90/90 402 w/worked AFR 205's and a small cam can put out SICK power and torque, NA, running on pump gas. Yes, it's been documented by wise builders who don't throw the biggest of everything they can find into their motor and cross their fingers that it'll put out gobs of power.
BUT
A stock 4.8 would choke and with that intake. Forget tuning it; it wouldn't idle.
