There isnt a person that will not gain from the LSXRT intake. FAST even says it is their best maniold out of all of them.

The zero gains on a FAST intake are the LS3 version for cars, and even then its just because of bad testing. I have personally installed and tested the LS3 version and it always makes around 15rwhp with "proper" testing. I even have that specific one on my truck.

The truck version LSXRT will pay large dividends. Ive installed and tested three now, every single owner has said "Wow, I love it". I would have it if it would fit on my personal truck. Two people have even told me they picked up 1-2mpg if they stayed out of the throttle.

With your 2009, its the cheapest to install too. I could find a brand new intake and fuel rail modification kit for under $900 without even trying. Its only $1075 for everyhting you need at full retail from FAST. Where are you getting $1700?

GO FOR IT!!!!

EDIT:Go here for the part numbers you need. www.fuelairspark.com/selector

SO buy from an american vendor and have it shipped for $50-100. You would have $1100-1200 into tops, I seriously think with the sales Ive seen on other forums you could get everything shipped to you for less than $1000.

17hp is the least I have seen. Typically 25-30hp. The thing is that hp numbers dont tell you is that they dont loose torque. They are even 2500-3500, and break away for a solid 20hp+ gain for a lot of the range, not just a single point at very high RPM.

If you have a truck get the truck intake. YOu dont have to swap water pumps or move idler pullys. I started with a LS2 intake, on my basically stock LQ9 and moved to a 90mm LSX, then 92mm LSX and now a 102mm LSXR intake manifold on my truck(still 90mm DBW throttle body though). I back to back tested my 92mm and it made 21rwhp over the LS2. THe smile on your face the first time you hit the gas makes it all worth it. No dyno graph will put that kind of smile on your face!

Good point, which truck are you talking about? The intake is cathedral port only.

“If you can fit this manifold, it’s the one you want to run,” said Brian Reese, Director of Engineering at FAST™. “It makes more power than any cathedral port LS manifold on the market.”

I think this is what he was talking about... I am going to get one for my ls1 after tranny/it is up and running....Plus this is the only IM that FAST teamed up with RHS on

-I thought I saw a L92 LSXRT part number on ebay..and they were $50 cheaper...
