Default Which Fans?

When I got my PCM tune, I had it set to control electric fans also. I would like to replace the fan in my 03 Silvy with a pair of electrics for more consistent cooling in S. Fla, and for a little more throttle response.

I see LS1 fans on e-bay all the time, but don't know which would be the most suitable for installation...a set from a late model Corvette or from a late model Firebird/Camaro. It appears that there are significant differences in the shrouds and probably the mounting.

I will sell you a set of modified LS1 fans ready to bolt on to your truck with relay and thermo switch if you are interested. I had them on my truck untill I swapped to a 34" radiator and went with dual 16" fans.

What is modified about them? I want my temp control from my PCM, so not interested in the thermo switch, but will need the relay. How old are they? How much?

Just the prep work of shaving down the lips and adding an extra bracket to the top so that the hang on the radiator. I got them off a 2000 Firebird and have had them on my truck for about a year and a half. I will take $200 shipped, obo.
Here is a pic of them on my truck:

Thanks. They look nice but I'll pass. Someone else on the forum may want them. LS-1 fans are always available on e-bay for under $100.
