I found one while browsing through my O'Reilly's catalog and it says it will move the fan outward 2 inches.
If it works like it says it does then a less constrictive bend in the intake tube could be made because the fan will be further out.
Has anyone seen or used them on our trucks?

 

is the spacer threaded ?
our fans are threaded onto the water pump/pulley
Is is not threaded - dont think it will work.

It will work, one of my friends has one one his tahoe with a homemade air intake!

 

don't buy the spacer. if you have problems with your fan hitting you're air intake shave the corner of each fan blade just enough to give it the clearance you need. i did this to a few trucks that had the throttle body spacer and intake. the fan would nick the intake so i shaved the corner of each fan blade. this worked for me take a close look it might work for you and you could save on that fan spacer...
