Just dropped mine off today. It's almost 300miles round trip to my buddies shop so had to wait till the weekend to avoid Bay Area traffic

Should be done by the end of the week or next week depending on if everything shows. I still need springs, rest of the meth kit and my fuel pump hasn't shown yet. At the very least I'll be running 7psi till the meth kit is in.

Amen. Bay Area traffic sucks just about all the time.

If you're asking about the STS setup, well the SS Silvy install was a success this week. We installed the STS turbo, inline pump, 43lb injectors and the SS hauls ***! I think the truck needs a stall, just a small one, but once it gets moving , get out of the way.
The install takes longer than a few hours if you're going all out, with the parts mentioned above and the alky kit, electronic gauges, tuning, etc., expect full two days and taking your time.
The SS hit 12psi! and there was no sign of knock. The only thing I tuned for were the injectors and shift points, the customer had to go because of something, so more tuning and the shift kit got put off until a few weeks. That's fine though, the dyno should be setup by then.
There's really no lag with these kits. As soon as you ease into it, you hear the turbo start to whine, then when you punch it, there's not much to wait on.
The customer chose to run a 3" pipe with a tip out the side and no muffler. Almost every truck that comes in the shop was louder than the SS turbo. No droaning or raspy sound. The turbo is pretty loud once it winds up and the blow off valve gets a lot of attention.

So consider the kit half way done and it still runs great!

I'll be posting times and numbers later.

I just put my order in with STS, I should be getting a quote on Monday, I can't wait to get mine installed!! I guess 10's shouldn't be too far off.

thanks,

allen
