So, my next mod will probably be headers. All this talk about the F-body headers fitting the trucks so well, and making such a noticable increase in power, has my mind working overtime. But I've never read of anybody putting a set on a 4x4. So, here is my question.....
Has anybody put a set on a 4x4? Or maybe a better question is......
To those who have put them on 2 wheel drive trucks, AND are familiar with 4x4 trucks, do you believe that there is even a possibility of them working on a 4x4 truck??
You'd think that I might have an idea about them fitting or not, after having worked for GM for so long. But, here in AK, 2 wheel drive trucks are extremely rare. Thanks in advance.

Ive been reading through a bunch of threads abotu this subject and so far there arent any headers for fbodys that will work on our 4wd trucks, the dside collector comes down right where the front dshaft is.
With that said there are some decent options for us 4wd guys now, back in the day it was either dynatechs or pacesetters for a true full length lt header. Kooks and ARH make some nice headers or you can go the cheaper route with LPPs. For the difference between the LPPs and the "nicer" headers I think Id use the money on other power upgrades unless you can pick up a set used.
