F-bod build hand-me-downs
#1
So I am wrapping up my build on my 01 WS6- which will leave me with LS1 Heads, Cam, LS6 intake...
I know everything will bolt up on my stock 5.3 truck... if i get an LS1 accessory drive...
So if i clean up the stock heads, cam and intake... Do you think it would be worth it?
Otherwise I can just sell all my parts...

LS1 heads and cam, no. IIRC they have a larger combustion chamber than your 5.3 heads, so they will lower compression and you'll lose power. Cam is close enough to your stock 5.3 cam that it won't be worth the time or effort to swap it.
LS6 intake would be worth it though. Don't bother swapping the whole accessory drive system either. Get a newer body style water pump with the front outlet, relocate your idler pulley, and call it good.

Last year (when I was cleaning out old F-body parts), I just went ahead and swapped over to the F-body primary accessories (water pump, alt, and PS pump). I kept the truck crank pulley and by using longer bolts and some spacer, I was able to space out the F-body brackets (away from the block/heads) to make them run in line with the truck system. I left the truck AC alone for now since there was no reason to mess with it. Thus now I'm set to swap over to an LS6 intake manifold, not to mention the F-body system is much cleaner looking (I think).
I also looked at using my 01 (F-body) cam but as other have said, it just didn't see it worth the effort. It's hardly any larger and you will spend a LONNNNNG FULL day doing the swap (in short, for nothing). 5.7L heads would be the wrong way to go. The 5.3s need MORE compression (stock is low 9._:1 or something) vs the 10:1 for LS1s and 10.5:1 for LS6s. I'm in the process of setting up a set of 5.3 heads I had milled 0.050" (hope to come out somewhere between 10.5:1 and 11:1).
