Default Exhaust recommendations

Okay guys this is my first post on the forum so cut me some slack if I do anything wrong. A little background on my truck is it's a 5.3 with a btr stage 3, d1sc, 1 7/8 long tubes and no cats. I had a corsa system that was too loud for my liking and I'm wanting to have a custom dual 3 inch system built with a x pipe. I'm wanting some suggestions for quiet mufflers and when I mean quiet I mean slightly louder than oem. Right now I'm running the oem catback because with a 2800 stall and no cats my corsa system was just unbearable. Now enough about me I want to hear some suggestions from you guys. No flowmasters please and thank you.

You're going to need multiple mufflers to quiet it down while keeping performance.

I have headers with two 3" magnaflows in a row, and its about as loud as the truck was with stock manifolds and just 1 magnaflow muffler.

My dynomax system isn't very loud but has a decent sound to me. The key to keeping decent sound without being too loud is to have a resonator or a second smaller muffler before the big muffler.

When I owned my old Sierra I had an offroad Y-pipe with no cats into a magnaflow muffler which droned and had rasp like crazy. Installed a vibrant ultra quiet resonator before the muffler and all that went away, sounded great afterwards.

Thanks guys. Originally I was thinking about borla xs mufflers but now I'm thinking I need a resonator before them. Maybe xr1s would be a better choice? I know they are a lot louder but with a resonator it might be quiet and less restrictive than the xs mufflers.

What are you going to do with the Corsa system?

To quiet down my Lightning I ended up putting cats on it...helped a LOT.

Borla XR1s are going to be far from quiet on a procharged truck. I ran a single 4" exhaust on mine with two XR1s back to back and it was still loud.

Do you have any sound clips?

Here's a little sound clip of what I have now just so you can get an idea of what I'm looking for. Something that's not that much louder but has a nicer sound to it.
