Hello everyone!! I got a few questions about my exhaust.
I am planning to keep my cats on because i dont want to mess with emission every year.
Anyways, I had a single in dual out 2 chamber muffler dumped but it was not loud enough for me so i recently went to 2.5" true duals with a pair of single chamber flowmasters dumped. It sounds great!
I am wondering now if i should get an H or X pipe now that both sides are individual and there is nothing evening out the exhaust? If so which one is better and would i see any performance gains?
I am also considering manual cutouts due to the fact that the electric ones leak. What do y'all think??
THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT REPLIES AHEAD OF TIME!!!

more info what mods do you have etc and i know plenty of people here have the electronic cutouts and they seem to love em as far as the leaks you got me and everybody seems to be under the idea that magnaflow is the best bang for buck but also having to free flowing exhaust might reduce backpressure and with a non heavily modded vehicle might not help as much as you would think give us something else to work with here such as a mod list to help us out

are you goign for loud or perforamnce? I would go with an x pipe on any true dual system. if you still want it louder then the 1 chambers and don't want to take off the cats put some chrome tips dumped right off the muffler. Or try out some bullets. I have no cats on my regular cab and 1 chambers and x pipe from magnaflow. it sounds mean but to loud and the exhaust tone is almsot to uneven sounding. but I scare bystandards all the time when my wife lets me drive it.

Bone stock with a K+N FIPK intake and exhaust. I have lots of plans in the future but its hard to mod a truck when your 19 and working full time to pay to school and bills. I am looking for both performance and sound. I like magnaflows and i know that have about the best performance you can get from a muffler, they just dont rumble as much as i would like.
Thanks for the quick replies!!
Would i be able to put both an x-pipe and cut outs on here? The single chambers sound great with the dumps! Every once in awhile i just wanna give people headaches and thats where the cutouts would come into play. lol.

I think im going to run the magnaflow x-pipe and see if it would be possible to also put the cut outs in but right before the single chamber mufflers and after the x-pipe. That sounds like alot of clutter in the exhaust. I wonder if it would cause problems?
