Default Exhaust question

I am getting ready to dump my exhaust under the truck when I get my LT's installed (all new pipe from headers back) and have a couple questions.

Where is everyone dumping theirs at? Before the axle or after?

I currently have true duals 12" glass packs and big tips (18" X 4 1/2"), stock cats and love the sound. What is a good sounding muffler, I know it will be loud as **** with the LT's and glass packs so I am looking for some opinions.

I like a deep rumble @ idle but a good sound when I hammer down.

Sound clips would be great if possible. I've always had my exhaust done in the traditional style with tips, this is my first rodeo with dumped exhaust.

Thanks

I dumped mine before the axle. Also, I think Edelbrock makes a really good sounding muffler, just go to their site and they have sound clips.http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_...st_intro.shtml

Here are a couple of mine. Pacesetters with large magnagflow muffler (22" body) dumped after the axle. I'll preface this with saying loud mufflers aren'y my thing. I like to have a little sound at idle and a good grumble when I'm in it.

agreif, yours sounds good...just a bit quiet for my taste I guess.

Thanks for taking the time to post up the links though.
