Default Exhaust Question

Alright tell me if this sounds right today i welded a 40 series flowmaster on my 00 ecsb and it made the truck sound very quiet but thats not the problem after runnin the truck for a little while i looked under the truck at the muffler and it looked ok but when i touched it for some unknown reason it burned the crap out of my finger and when you would spray water on it it sizzles now tell me if that sounds right its dumped right before the axle

So.. just checking... but you touched the exhaust and it burned you and you want to know if its supposed to be hot?

exhaust is the burnt fuel exiting the engine

uh you are kidding right. i think you might need to go and touch it again. if it is hot then call the fire dept right away.
