Exhaust Problems
#1
Hello I have a '03 Chevy single cab truck. It has the 5.3L V8 engine. The only thing I have done is put in a K&N Air Filter.I bought the truck used about 6 months ago and the first owner has already put on a Flowmaster muffler. I don't know which model it is but it sounds pretty good. I like a little louder sounding muffler and this one is not doing it for me. Do ya'll have any suggestions for me.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Depends on loud you want. Dynomax bullets are a good, loud muffler; and have excellent flow. Hooker Aerochambers are another that flow good. They aren't as loud as the Dynomax but have a good sound with little resonance.

I have the dynomax tube muffler, not the bullet, but the tube/round style.. Its like 70-80bucks I believe. But it has a nice deep sound and im pretty sure it flows good since its straight through
magnaflow flows good, but its not gonna be very loud
bullets will be loud

crewcabondubz has a SLP resonator in place of his muffler and its louder than my cutout...i havent taken a ride, but he says the resonance isnt bad at all. the resonation a cutout will drive you crazy
